Our God is Sovereign; nothing happens out of His control and cannot thwart His glorious and eternal purposes. The trials and sufferings that we experience in this broken reality can often cause us to doubt and distrust God’s loving hand over our lives. In this sermon, we looked at Paul and Silas imprisonment experience (Acts 16:16-24) and learned that God’s moving hand in our lives is powerful, protective and purposeful. We were challenged to be a people of prayer and gratitude, who are constantly relying on Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all that we can ask and imagine.
