As Christians, we may find ourselves in unfavourable circumstances. Sometimes, our heart breaks for the injustice that we experience. Other times, we find it hard to live as followers of Christ in a society that ridicules Christ and deplores His word. In our last sermon, we looked at Psalm 5, a psalm of David, and saw how David came to the Lord in times of adversity.  We learned that though suffering is a reality, we are to kneel and pray to God in times of hardship and not come to God as a last resort. From David’s prayer, we learned that when we pray during troubled times, we should seek God’s strength, remember His heart, behold His holiness, desire His will, heed His judgement, and trust His plan!
