In this sermon, guest speaker Pastor Isaac Melis reminded us of our call as believers to follow God without turning back. This call to follow is often met with adversity, but we are to follow regardless of the difficulty and the hardships we face. We were reminded of what is at stake if we don’t answer the call—the people who desperately need God; our mission given by the Savior is to go and make disciples of all nations and reach the lost. Finally, we were challenged to examine ourselves and see what are the things that blind us from seeing what God wants us to see. True disciples of Christ have a heart to follow the Savior regardless of the cost, and regardless of where He leads. It is a heart cry that proclaims that we have decided to follow Jesus, and there is no turning back.
