Although the year 2020 had its fair share of unexpected turns, God reminded us as a church to press on and persevere in the New Year from the book of Philippians. Sadly, more often than not it has become commonplace for many Christians to appear like they have already perfected their faith. This facade of a lifestyle fails to recognize the gradual and steady work of the Holy Spirit in us. In order to make this year a better year for Him, we must renew our minds, resolve our promises and remember the debt we owed. God enables us to forget the mistakes and failures of the past, to bring us past the paralysis of anguish and remorse so we can move forward in Him and for Him.
