The apostle Paul under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit wrote this letter with the aim of instructing believers to live out orderly and godly lives as people of the truth and as the household of God. As the apostle concludes the letter, he sought to provide some final instructions for Christians who possess the temporal riches of this world. He gives three ways believers can glorify God with the earthly riches they own in this world: First, resist the temptations that comes from being rich. Second, relish the gifts but rest in the Gift-giver. Third, reinvest your riches spiritually for eternal benefits.
